How To Make Sure Content Is Displayed Only In Ssl
TCH-Don replied to okok's topic in Security Discussions
You are welcome, let me know if it works ok. -
Hi Hank, have you looked at the one listed on the Totalchoice Hosting Help site Or there many simple php forms on Hot scripts
-
You can open a help desk ticket above to have support park one of the domains on top of the other. No charge. Then they both will point to the original site and you can use e-mail with the parked domain also.

How To Make Sure Content Is Displayed Only In Ssl
TCH-Don replied to okok's topic in Security Discussions
I did find one idea that can be inserted into the pages, Code: >if($HTTP_SERVER_VARS["HTTPS"] != "on") { $newurl = "https://" . $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"] . $_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]; header("location: $newurl"); } from burnwave -
I am guessing a stumper. Sorry can't think of a way. Have you tried hotscripts ?
-
How old is the domain name, is the propagation done (72 hours) It came up for me right away.
-
Laurel, submitt a help desk ticket to Technical Support link ablove.
-
cpanel does not support sub.sub.domain
-
Wow glad they were both ok. Just proves, It's good to be a turtle
-
You can look at your error page to see what has come up missing.
-
is Hotlink protection on? I can't view any images in the images folder, even if I save then. They do not appear to be standard .jpg files.
-
Without a link to see your site its hard to say what is happening. If you can PM me the http://IP/~user address I can look at the source html Or you can submit a help desk ticket if you think there is something wrong with your account.

I am not familar with using shoutcast, but Shoutcast servers (or any streaming media servers) are only allowed on dedicated servers. There was a recent post on this http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...01&hl=shoutcast that may help.

Hi Darwinlady , The public_html folder is your public folder where you site is located. the links to sub folders should work with viewing the site as http://IP/~user try linking to subfolder/pagename.html or just link to subfolder without the leading / As to the user name for WHM and your resellers cpanel, they are the same.

Matt, glad you will be joining our family. Be sure to post in the introductions forum, we love to say welcome and don't be a stranger, there is lots to learn here and jump in anytime to help

If your current host has cpanel, ask when you sign up to have you site copied here. You may be asked to open a help ticket after your account is set up. No guarentees, but normally it works just fine and is faster for them to copy your site as is. When they did this for me, everything worked the same including e-mail and databases.
-
forwarding is just an alias you set up so if some sends to aname@yourdomain and you set up an alias to forward it to their home e-mail it still comes to your server and then is sent on its way. So it passes through your server twice, incoming and out going and does count as part of your bandwidth, as does any request to or from your site.

Hi, The forum you are looking at IPB, is installed in cpanel under Scripts library, it is version 1.2, but you can install 1.3 yourself, and if you need help just ask. I do not believe there are any limit to how many can connect to your forum at once. And yes on the SMTP, and if you need it port 26 is enabled. Hope this helps and we will get to welcome you as family

I have only worked with 40 meg tar.gz files I open the gz file and copy the tar file to another folder, then it opens faster. I use Total Commander file manager to do this http://www.ghisler.com/

Have you tried cpanel > backup > Home Directory Download a home directory Backup This should have all the folders from your site. Just uncompress it and goto the public_html folder to find your images

<number>.ins.droptothetop.com Redirect To ...
TCH-Don replied to Ian's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Sorry Ian not clue without changing the url, but I bet someone will be along to help. Anyway Welcome to the family Ian gald you are here. -
As indicated above, changes are only made if the name is vulgar or offensive in nature. I would not worry, just be sure your password is made from letters and numbers and not a word.
