Not that I am aware of. I think you may want to open a help ticket to the techs and ask them to try it.

Steve, its a weekend and the weather is nice and I suspect not that many are using mailman so it may take a few days for the family members that do to check in and offer some help. Have you checked the mailman site to see if there is any insight there?

Viper is stable in the latest version but they are working on a new version so anyone using the latest version is ok. I would check out the both viper and Lazarus Guestbook.

I like to set up a user name that is different from the folder like a user called tulips for a folder called flowers. Then I can add another user for the same folder with another user name if need be. And I can remove just one user later.

As I understand, user names are now computer generated for security purposes. If the user name is profane or otherwise inappropriate it can be changed with a help desk ticket. But not just to make it easy to remember. this is done for your protection the user name is one half of the access to your account. This is done to make it harder for hackers to break into your account. What I did is to get a password manager like anypassword see the help site under freebies > password keepers > anypassword. It is a great free program to help remember all those passwords with lots of room for notes for each password.

Also you do not need a path you set that when you created the ftp user as in you selected a folder for the user. So when the user@yourtchdomain logs in they are put into the folder you selected.

All brands have their lemons. At work we have more than 700 Dells and only 2-3 had problems. I have my first emachine (cough gateway cough) An am impressed by the quality and performance.

Greg, sorry about your Dad. I got into ham radio in high school. We converted old tank transmitters to two meters. Built our receivers from kits and had a great time. Yes now that you mention it, its was a lot like the internet and a forum like this. K8UOB retired.

Viper is great option and can moderate the posts or you can set the entries to need approval.
