I noticed that your signing this site up for a client. Remember one thing. Don't worry about using our yearly hosting plans. If your client moves on half way thru the yearly contract, you can always have us wipe the account and start the account with a new domain name. So you are never stuck with one domain name. I hope that makes sense.

Hello there, We have reduced our plan offerings from 6 plans down to 3 plans. Our thought was it was simply to confusing with all the plans. We were forced to raise our pricing due to increases costs in staffing, payroll, hardware and everything in the middle. The $4.00 monthly plan has been eliminated and replaced with the $5.95 a month plan. If you purchase for one year the new Silver Plan only works out to be $4.58 per month. I hope this helps you choose the right plan to host on at TotalChoice.

Lee, Any current account holder with Starter Plans will be automatically be upgraded to our new Silver Plan. Of course at no up charge to the client and come renewal time you will renew at your old rate. I know TCH rules.

Dear TCH Family, TotalChoice Hosting has been providing fast, reliable and affordable Web Hosting services for over 11 years! Not many of you will remember back in the old days when TCH was known by another acronym SNH. Back when the Quizno Rat's made frequent visits to our forums. Back when we were renting servers in 5 data centers all over the world. TCH was dishing up Starter Plans before the founder of Facebook had even celebrated his 16th birthday. I remember our very first Family Forum contest. Back when TCH announced it was moving its operations into one Data Center. One would say "those were the good old days.". Normally I would be the one to say something like that when I think back about something good, however, the good times are not over at TCH they are just starting over. Over the new few weeks a lot of changes are going to be taking place. We are going to be updating our website content with new and improved help sections, tutorials, info pages and much more. Most exciting for our clients is that we are going to be upgrading our Hosting Offerings. We will start offering new plans some time tomorrow that will offer, in some cases, 600% more bandwidth and disk space of our current plans. We will be eliminating some plans and updating all the remaining. Due to increases in operating costs we will be also raising our entry level hosting prices. I know current customers are asking, do we get the upgrades? Not only do you get the upgrades, your existing packages are exempt from the new pricing for as long as you choose to stay on the grandfathered plan. So you will actually get your cake and eat it too! In addition to the improvements to our hosting plans and website, we are making plans to release in the upcoming weeks a myriad of new service offerings including new VPS servers, Cloud Hosting and upgrades to our fleet of servers. Queen, I would think this is happening at your place of work, as many corporate offices utilize Web Proxy software to serve up internet to their workstations. Maybe you should check with your IT department to see if they are having issues.

Hey TCH Family, I wanted to let everyone know that we did a complete round of unplanned server reboots. This was prompted by a root exploit that we found in one of our dedicated server clients. The clients server was compromised and this lead us to determine the cause and entry point. Once this was done, I made the choice to do kernel and software upgrades to patch this unreleased to the public exploit and reboot all the servers in the Data Center. It is now 7:15am and we have just completed the last of the reboots. I am confident that this was the correct thing to do, our team always is taking measures to secure our servers and this is just another point in case. I can tell you that you should not expect to see 50GB plans for the price your paying now. I could not make any money overselling in such a manner. TCH is all about providing near 100% up time, 24 hour support, uncrowded servers and good overall value. We are not ever going to get into the over selling of resources business. There are a ton of other companies out there that oversell their pants off and well at the end of the day they simply do not have any pants left. WE are going to greatly increase space and bandwidth, but we are not going to give the kitchen sink away. As a reseller I am very confident you appreciate the uptime and reliable services that we provide, after all your confident enough to be reselling our services. Looking forward to open debate on the facts of overselling.

On July 1, 2010, VeriSign®, the registry for .COM and .NET, will increase prices. This increase in price will effect every domain selling company. Due to this increase in cost, we will be forced to raise registration prices for these two popular top-level domains. This is the second increase in pricing from VeriSign in the past three years. When the prices were increased in the previous years, TCH made the choice not to raise pricing. I felt at that time we could absorb the additional cost and still provide the level of service our clients have come to expect. When this choice was made, I was confident that there would not be another round of price increases for some time to come. This did not work out as planned.
