mikescotto Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 1. Where is a link for running phpinfo and/ or is curl installed. 2. We have a instant cert from comodo. I saw that there is a charge for having a personal cert but it was not clear whether this was a charge for the sale of a cert or just the capacity to have a cert. Thanks Mike Scotto Quote
Lianna Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 PHP.net should give you the phpinfo help you are looking for. That link I found from the Google search engine by typing in "phpinfo" and was the top hit. Curl, to my knowledge is NOT installed. I would strongly suggest a discussion with Management if you intended to use it (just to make sure that TCH had no objection and could investigate the app). #2, I'll have to get back to you on, ok? It's a good detailed question and I'd like to give you an appropriate response. Thanks. Lianna Quote
mikescotto Posted January 30, 2003 Author Posted January 30, 2003 I would like to run phpinfo on your server to see what php modules are included. Thanks! Quote

mikescotto Posted January 30, 2003 Author Posted January 30, 2003 Thanks. All the php stuff we need is there! In addition to the cert question if we purchase an other from you will that be a problem because we already have a cert out there? and/ or If we need to temporarily use the shared cert is it signed or will it prompt the user with a certification request. Thanks again Quote
Lianna Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 Sorry, Here's the follow up to your other questions, too: 1. HeadGuru says curl is ok so, it's ok. Not already installed but it's ok to. 2. It is $85 for us to install your cert. That cost does not include the actual SSL cert. You provide the cert. Pay us $85 to install it. Lianna Quote
vangrieg Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 The link provided by TCH-Kevin shows that cURL is installed. Is this the case on all servers now? Thanks! Quote
TCH-Rob Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 vangrieg, Yes it is installed on all servers. Let me know if we can be of further assistance. Quote
GroovyFish Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 2. It is $85 for us to install your cert. That cost does not include the actual SSL cert. You provide the cert. Pay us $85 to install it. I have a question on what Lianna wrote about the SSL certificate... In the add on section of the plans it says: Dedicated SSL $35/Install $85/Yearly So to set up SSL on a site it would cost $120 ($35+85) then $85 each year after that? I am getting ready to sign up for a new site that will need Dedicated SSL and want to make sure I understand the costs involved. (I already have the cert.) Thanks! Quote
TCH-Rob Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Groovy, Actually it is $35 to install it, the $85 is if you dont have one. Here is a clear explanation http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/web-hosting-ssl.html Just open a ticket when you are ready and we will get you going. Quote
GroovyFish Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Ahhh.... I see the light woooot Thanks so much for the answer! I KNEW there had to be a more indepth page on the subject, but couldn't find it and what I read above and what is on the plans page got me really confused Thanks!! Will be ordering soon! Quote

GroovyFish - et. al., Please note the date of my quote (Jan-2003) and know that at that point we did not offer certificates for sale and that was the installation cost AT THAT TIME. Sorry for any confusion (a year later, things still come bite ya in the behind ). Quote
