I am currently using Geocities/Yahoo for a few family style websites.

I do not have a domain name for them and had not planned on purchasing one (just not significant enough to afford such a cost). :goof:

Can I open an account at TCH without a domain name? If so, what would the url look like?

For example..my urls are like this for my geocities site:

www.geocities.com/toobusy

(toobusy being my log in member name).

Thanks...

Lynn,

Having a couple of family type sites you may want to consider having a catchy little domain name (not that totalchoicehosting isn't) that reflects your site and tastes and is easy for friends and family to remember.

You can get a domain name here at TCH for $10.95 p/yr.

I think it would be well worth it for you! :goof:

I'm trying to start up a new site for a gaming group I'm in.

We're not sure exactly what our name will be yet (we plan to decide and get one registered over the next couple of weeks).

I'd like to go ahead and start an account with the TCH name like was mentioned, but the registration form gives me an error if I leave the domain name field blank. What do I put there to have it work?

Pick a name you would like and if you register it later there is no problem. If you change your mind later a register a different domain name we can change the name on the account.
