borfast Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Well, I wouldn't count on making a Flash animation with all those effects. I think you could aproximately reproduce the smoke with some ActionScript but I can't think of any easy way to reproduce the lightning or the 3D glow. I'd sugest you take advantage of Flash 6 movie import abilities and import it as a movie. That way you'd be able to keep all those cool effects without having much trouble. Quote

TCH-Rob Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Well I tried it the hard way. I took your 2.16 Meg Mpeg file and converted it to an 11 Meg animated gif. I then converted that to an SWF file, only 6.76 Megs now. It works slow and has no sound. I would do as borfast said and import it. THere is other software out there but I havent the cash to try it. I might try to figure out how to do it, all i have is flash 4 tho, i'm a little behind the times I just cant see shelling out the bucks for flash mx when i never learned flash 4 Quote

leezard Posted June 25, 2003 Author Posted June 25, 2003 Love that animation, how did you do it? it was sent to me, and yeah i think it's pretty sweet myself. it was just an idea for the videos that i might be putting ion my site. the person that did it has all kinds of video editing hardware, not sure exactly what he used. **side note, you'll have to excuse my typing, testing a new keyboard and altho it is full size the keys are like a laptop so i'm miskeying a lot Quote
