TCH-Rick Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Felt like I was wrestling that donkey trying to get the db restored. I would echo HG's warning on the need for regular backups. But, if you delete something tell us quick of you want to have a chance to get it back. Quote
leezard Posted June 1, 2003 Author Posted June 1, 2003 Head_Guru, thats a good idea Thanks again rick! Funny thing is, I used to to handle all the back ups for the ISP I used to work for because I was so adamant about it yet I cant remember to back up my site. Quote
Lianna Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 I just put in Calendar entries for the first of each month reminding folks to do a backup... Make it a habit! Backup your site and databases through cPanel regularly... I will try to remind you once a month, but you should evaluate the importance of your data and commit to doing backups that will minimize loss. The backups done by TCH are for drive recovery purposes and should not be relied upon for your personal data recovery. Just a little kick in the pants for anybody that actually looks at the Calendar here. Quote
