I still have my Apple IIe and Mac SE30 sitting around taking up valuable desktop real estate. I never use them except to play one game on the SE30 every year or two (Strategic Conquest). I can't put them in the attic because of the extreme temperatures/conditions. But I'm having trouble parting with them because of the fantasy that I'll someday do something with them or use them for something combined with the fact that they were expensive to originally purchase. They have no donation or ebay value.

Any ideas what to do with them? Should I just cut the emotional strings and toss them?

Check your local area's Ham Radio Clubs and see if anyone one might want it. I know some ham operators (especially the older ones) who don't want to invest the money in a new one like to pick up bargains like this.

There are charities that will take them, such as certain ones through the United Methodist Church, and they will send them to schools in Haiti and Africa. I don't know if they want ones as old as yours or not, but it can't hurt to ask. ;)
