What is snow by the way?

Hee hee... this reminds me...

We had exchange students living with us through out all of my teen years (14 total students total).

Our first one was from Germany and lived with us for a year. She kept a list of the funniest questions that she was asked while she was here.

The top of her list was from one of the people my dad worked with...

"What color is the snow in Germany?"!!!

Thinking the woman was joking, she replied "purple" and the woman said "OHHHHH! Really??" (she seriously believed her).

No snow here in Chicago right now (we had a little bit briefly last month). Saw a bit of snow in Michigan though when I was driving through on Sunday (it was snowing then)... passed at least a dozen cars who ended up in ditches... fortunately none of them look serious, and only one involved more than one vehicle.

I grew up in the midwest all my life and it still boggles me how poorly some people drive in snow.

Can't help you there, Rob. Folks around here (Florida Keys) say it's just a myth - along with temperatures lower than 41 degrees Fahrenheit (5 C) and frost.

I think I vaguely remember something about it from when I was a kid but that may have just been a movie I saw or something.

Everyone go make a snowman for me, ok? :)

Jim and Rob, both of you could create snow that last days with this stuff.

We have some of it to put around the front entrance of my mother's home for Christmas day. (Ocala Florida, just north of Orlando, is NOT known for the winter snowfall)

Insta Snow is actually cool to the touch! :)
