  1. I miss Mitch. It was nice to read that he seems to be ok though.
  2. Collar
  3. Will do
  4. Im just a customer but as far as I know TCH do not have any guarantees where you will get your money back or other compensations when servers are down etc, but I and many more can guarantee you that TCH do care for their customers. Yes, there is problems sometimes, but all companies have those, but with TCH they are solved quickly.
  5. Dont know if this applies to your problem, but might be worth a look, esp last message about C:\Program Files\Zero Knowledge\pl.exe: http://forums.thetechguys.com/archive/index.php/t-7029.html
  6. Try also Hijack this: http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html
  7. A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position. The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, and held up a handwritten sign that said "WHERE AM I?" in large letters. People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their sign said "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER." The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course to steer to SEATAC airport, and landed safely. After they were on the ground, the copilot asked the pilot how he had done it. "I knew it had to be the Microsoft Building, because they gave me a technically correct but completely useless answer."
  8. I have an additional question now when I read Do TCH mind if they are in swedish?
  9. Bed
  10. Ok. I got it (I think.) Thanks everyone.
  11. This is what I dont understand. You mean that even if Jessica never touched any textsettings (either up or down) and me neither, in any broswer at all, then it can still be difference in what ever browser that page is viewed in.
  12. No, not yet. But what I mean is that, do I need to tell people not only that a site is best viewed in 800x600 but also ask them to resize their textsize? If so, I dont understand why resolutions exists then. Sorry Bruce. I know you are just trying to help, but I do less and less understand this thing now.
  13. I have no answers for most of them, sorry for that, but... 1) Have you run NAV liveupdate to downloaded their sp 2 update (in lack of words)? 2) I think I have read about there being problems with NAV 2003, so have a look here and I think the NAV problems will be solved.
  14. But if both persons browsers use same default settings and same resolution this effect should not show up?
  15. No, that was the only thing I could think of. Mine is bigger than hers. I dont remember what size she has for the moment (sorry), but my monitor is 21". Her monitor is 17" I think. I thought that was what the resolution was supposed to handle. Like on a TV, you see exact same thing no matter size.
  16. Yup Bob, all settings, browsers etc are exact same. No Don, all settings are default.
  17. Lets say I have made a page intended for 800x600. It looks great on my computer and monitor, but when I view it through Jessicas computer and monitor which have same settings etc as me, the page layout is yuck. How come a page can look so different even if same settings? If her monitor uses 1024x768 or other, I could understand it, but now I dont.
  18. sleep (I need that)
  19. investigation
  20. That is a great page Samantha. Ok. Now I know what I will do today. To my 404 page: Watch out, you will be redesigned today.
  21. Samantha, did you do that in CSB?
  22. Ok, now just sit back and relax and check your email every now and then and the techs will contact you about this.
  23. First, Welcome to your TCH family. Services like hotmail, yahoo etc (if you used them for this) are really good in placing these emails in the spam/junk folders. Have you checked there? If there is no mail in those folders, please submit a ticket to tech support and they will help you. Just enter "unknown" for password and such things in the ticket. Link on top of page.
  24. Thanks Raul I have never been much for keyboard shortcuts (never felt those were faster/better), so I never thought of checking out which shortcut FF had for this.
  25. Thanks Dick. I will check them out.
