This isnt a big thing, just a question.... Would it be possible to ask those who names the topics in "Current server issues" to name them (for example) "Server 65 Down" and not just "Server Down"? Then we users would know if it affects us by looking at "Last post" without going in to the topic to read. This would probably make only a few to put their coffee in the wrong part of their throat and maybe making that specific page to load a little faster (thinking about all avatars that needs to load). The tech stuff about pageloading is just a guess from my side though.

I agree on all that Raul. But I dont think the average person who is 25, studying on some univeristy or something and only uses the computer to surf for school, check email, maybe filesharing, will not need to learn how to set file associations. Atleast not those who fits in the description above that I know. As for what software I need to set up with FF... Pretty much everything actually. I know now how to do it, but I expected FF to open PDF with Acrobat, and mov with Quicktime (alternative in my case), mp3 with winamp, as they are associated with those programs in explorer.

I dont know what its called, but there are programs that can register every key you press on your keyboard and then sends it to a predefined adress in the virus or whatever its called.

I always felt its their problem if they are not registering it in time. Take my roommate (TCH-member Marve) for instance, her family is the only ones in Sweden having their last name. We thought about registering not only marve.se but also marve.com. But we can not register the com adress, because it belongs to some guy in India and I bet that he will not sell it. Me and my family are the only ones named Jikrantz in Sweden so I have registered all (se, com, net except org).

True, but as a "normal" user I assume that whatever opens when I click on something in explorer will also run when clicking on same thing in a browser. And that is what I mean. The normal user probably does not know half of the settings in the other programs to change it. Addition: When reading above, remember the acrobat thing is just an example.

I guess I shouldnt tell this, but... It gets doubled in 2 weeks (or hopefully the coming week, depending on when I get the new modem) and the extra cost is very very little. Thanks everyone.

In the internet world, is a 4/1 Mbps connection fast? Dont ask me which way 4 Mbps is and which way 1 Mbps is. Why I ask is because from October 1st, my isp upgraded to those speeds and now I almost only have to think"open thunderbird" and my emails are downloaded.

Agrees 100%. I have been in exact same situations many times. In one of those times our friend TCH-Don (I didnt know about TCh back then) told me "Dont listen to them". I stopped listening, and did I feel good. I sure did. Especially when checking this peoples site with different code-checking programs, and found that many had more errors than mine. I dont consider myself stupid, I have very often very bad luck when thinking, but no I am not stupid, but html, php etc are things just too complicated to learn 100%. I know a little and I learn more and more everyday. Until I reach those 100%, CSB is my pal...everyday.

I use CSB myself. I´ve never heard anything like that. I hear questions like "What is CuteSite Builder", but nothing like that. Dont take what that %¤&¤/ person said personal. What I would do is to ask them a bunch of questions that "experts" should find easy to answer. Then he/she will probably give you a long and very complicated answer which you reply to with "Ah ok, in CSB you just do this (give a short answer) and boom its done."

Ok, back from the mozilla forums... I did not ask "original" quicktime question. Instead I asked same problem but about PDF/Acrobat reader. The problem is identical, just not same program as quicktime, since I figured, why make things harder to explain by involving Quicktime Alternative. The answer I was given was This makes me wonder "Will Firefox be as userfriendly as I.E for instance, if the user not only have to change settings in FF but in the other programs as well".

On http://www.google.com/help/features.html#link it says I know that atleast some people link to jikrantz.se, but who´s linking to me does not show up when trying this. I then tried 2-3 other sites (made by people on this forum), their linking people are not showing up either. Then I tried it for well known companies like microsoft etc. They showed up instantly. Does anyone know why? If these backlinks are not showing up, then what are they good for?

In what folder will I find "userContent.css"? The only place I find it is in thunderbird, which I assume is wrong?

Yes I know Don Its just that it looks so weird to have content to left and menu to right. So that is why I asked how important it is to have menu to the right.

Ive only tried Help Center Live, which works great, except for one thing...its supposed to beep when some one wants to speak with you live. I never heard any beeps.
