No, I agree Lisa, this might not be the place to discuss it, but if several discuss it anywhere, there might be someone who can bring this to attention to the correct people. I think its bad to remove the "target=_blank" function. Because if I link to lets say Lisas site then with "target=_blank" the visitor can check out Lisas site but at same time not leave my site for further reading. If Lisas site opens in my sites window, clearing out me, and then decides it wants to go back to mine to continue reading, it will be a lot of go back and forth for the visitor. Another thing I often do when coming to a page with several links is to open all in new windows/tabs, finish them site by site. For both of these scenarios, the website owner would have to have a text saying "Please right click the links and open them in new windows" Not very handy. Lisa, you mention javascript? What script is that? I have never seen a javascript open a new window.

Yep. I like it too now when I figured out why I have been waiting for weeks to have it email me some bad links. I better explain "weeks" so I dont confuse anyone. Don told me about this script several weeks ago. I inserted it. Waited and waited. No email. I gave up. Saw this thread and figured I give it one more chance, this time on Jessicas site.

One more question... Does this script contain some function like "if the error is reported one time then no more reports for that error is sent"? Why I ask is because I have tried it out 5-6 times today but only gotten one report which was from test #1.

Since I am the one maintaining Jessicas site I better ask, will a site send thisreferral info as default or will I have to insert some script to Jessicas site to make it work or is the script mentioned in Dons post enough if placed on my site?

So if lets say Jessica links directly to one of my pages and that link is misspelled, then Jessicas site would be referer in this email? Second, the link from Jessicas site (misspelled or not) would also show up in this email?

No, but what I mean is like here on TCH there is no need to show the link to TCH. We do it if we like a link back (for free). With IPB it costs alot of money even to use it and if you want the link to ipb removed you need to pay for it. Like if TCH put a link on each site and told us it would cost to have it removed. Bill would not have this many customers then.

I think it sucks Yuck! First they want $69.95/year Then they want $275 for copyright removal. If I buy something I expect it to be mine as long as I pay for it. I guess they will loose a lot of potential customers.

Yes, I have tried it. In this website I use a left frame on this site and squirrelmail places inbox, sent etc in its own left frame (in lack of words) so it was not an option this time. Other than that I prefer squirrelmail too.

I dont think I will have to install Horde. I figured out that neomail does what I want. Ok, I dont like how it looks, but it doesnt give me any extra log in boxes.

Are nightly builds stable enough for a "normal" user? Ive heard so much about nightly builds, so I figured its better to ask.
