I stay out of file manager if I can. Not that I dont like it, but open ftp, connect and navigate to the correct server, folder etc takes lots more clicks than in a browser.

I had a look in my phpbb and it doesnt look like there is an option for attachements in phpbb.

No worries But what I ment was that I for instance, happened to install a few things from my cpanel once. I checked what all files that I knew I had not uploaded/installed was called and I asked here in the forum what these files were ment for. I found out that these files were from these installs and I could easily delete them. So if you find an unknown file, check in here if someone knows if it belongs to this or that.

Crash course: I think you can click pretty much anything. There is probably not much harm done as long you fill in strong passwords etc for those things needing it. All "harm" they can do that I can think of , is that they might take up some unnecessary space.

It was a long time ago since I installed coppermine so I dont exactly remember, but if I do remember correct, coppermine either fills out the path itself when running the installer or it can be left blank.
