  7. If you want two or more sites "live" (i.e. each domain name have different content) you need either 2 hosting plans or a reseller account.
  8. Does both sites show the same content? If so, just drop a ticket at the helpdesk and ask them to park the domains. This way, the visitors will reach the site no matter they go to your-tchdomain-a.com or your-tchdomain-b.com.
  9. Welcome to the forum, drec.
  10. I read on Slashdot that it is the "System Administrator Appreciation Day" today, so Happy System Administrator Appreciation Day to all Sys admins out there! Especially to the people who take care of all the "behind the scenes" stuff here at TCH, you do a great job.
  11. You´re welcome.
  12. It should work, but I think the helpdesk needs to know which one you want as the "main" one. Either way, they will be able to help you park or replace the domain names. Same goes for future domains, you can point/park as many domain names you want on top of the first one as long they point to the same content.
  13. You will need to submit a ticket to the helpdesk and ask them to park the new domain on top of the old.

  18. From: Secunia http://secunia.com/advisories/26201/ Rating: Highly critical Description: A vulnerability has been discovered in Microsoft Windows, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system. The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error within the handling of system default URIs with registered URI handlers (e.g. "mailto", "news", "nntp", "snews", "telnet"). This can be exploited to execute arbitrary commands when a user e.g. using Firefox visits a malicious website with a specially crafted "mailto" URI containing a "%" character and ends in a certain extension (e.g. ".bat", ".cmd") Successful exploitation requires that Internet Explorer 7 is installed on the system. The vulnerability is confirmed on a fully patched Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP2 system using Firefox version 2.0.0.5 and Netscape Navigator version 9.0b2. Other versions and browsers may also be affected. Solution: Do not browse untrusted websites or follow untrusted links.
