  3. Welcome to the forums! As Don said, you just have to be patient. Domain propagation can be as fast as a few hours or as much as 72. If you are still having problems after the 72 hours, then drop a note to the Help Desk and they'll track down the problem.

    Slight Problems

Welcome to the forums! (It's always the little things, isn't it? ) Glad you got it fixed.
  5. What about using Spam Assasin?
  6. Welcome to the family Kevin!
  7. Looks good, boss!
  8. (to) make
  9. Why not install it in it's own folder, and use the Redirect found in cpanel?
  10. Welcome to the forums and your new web hosting home! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
  11. Welcome to the forums! I see Thomas has found a new friend!

  13. I've played with OpenBSD a few years ago when a few friends turned me onto the *nix side of things. Being a newbie at that time, it was kind of intimidating, but as Rob said, the security was darn good. In the course of things, I drifted over towards Linux. (Except for the work laptop which is running XP.)
  14. Yep...it got CNN too, so it's only a "low-impact" problem. Gotta love it. Yet another reason to have some type of UPDATED firewall and anti-virus protection on any computer system you own. Thanks for the heads up, Rob!

  16. Welcome to the forums! Glad to see you got things working again!
  17. I just use the general question: "Is this something I would show my mother?" Seems to have worked so far!
  18. We had something like that when I was stationed in the Philippines. It would do if there was nothing else, but I wouldn't want to make a daily deal of it. It did have a rich%2
  19. Not having played with any CMS programs, I can't really recommend any. But the latest talk has gotten me interested. Keep us posted on what you find out! Oh...and welcome to the forums!

  21. Rick beat me to it!
  22. Web site name? Have you submitted a ticket with the Help Desk (link at top of page)? Given the limited information you provided, it could be caused by nearly anything!
  23. I would second Don's suggestion. The one time I had problems with this program I found it was the permissions. (Silly me!)
  24. Not quite...you'll still have to take a test. And surprisingly, in a poll done by the ARRL of responses to the FCC's proposal, an overwhelming majority are in favor of this. According to what I've been reading, there are many countries who don't have a code requirement now. But the debate goes on! I would think we'll hear something official by year's end. (Then I know what my wife can get me for Christmas...a nice HF rig! )
  25. Greg: My condolences on your father. Funny...I mainly got into ham radio because of my dad also (N9SLC) and my younger sister (KB8VEJ). Early in my Air Force career, I was big into HF with the military. Now, since I'm a self-proclaimed techno-geek, ham radio and computers are hand-in-hand for me. It's almost like a whole new world is opening up and it's exciting to see what all can be done with the two communications mediums! And as the FCC starts to relax the code requirement, I think (hopefully) Ham Radio will take off even more!
