what i do like about skype is the skypeIN buuuut, they aint got my local code (for the UK, they have london, manchester and glasgow) but i need my city really, then i would be interested in getting it if they also reduced cell calls to UK lines id be very happy, 35p (60 or more cents) per min is a rip off!! its cheaper then to use my cell phone to call people!

ive often been interested in hiding say a CCTV cam in my garden and putting it on the computer, i did set my webcam to record entry into my room for a bit but got rid of it when it got annoying surveilance of any kind is fun

Thanks thats all done my final question is about the CHMOD values, it wont me edit them, so what i do is set them to 777 then set it back when i finished. what is the CHMOD value i should use that will still keep my data safe? thanks in advance

re: flash suggestion file > import to library (then locate vid) it will then encode the file to a type suitable for flash you then go to your library (if not visible window > library or F11) drag this onto your work area (canvas) you will get a length warning you will then go to file > export movie(and then select jpeg, gif etc) click OK and it will esport frame by frame it may take a while.. if you don not have flash simply obtain the trial from http://www.macromedia.com edit > make sure your "canvas" is the same size as video and positioned within the work area.

if you simply want a screen cap, power dvd is a good program to use. as it has a 1 button way to capture it. other than that you *may* be to import into flash and save it (export movie) frame by frame that seems to me to be logical.
