i have "personal radios" and they do interfere with CRT screens but my LCD doesnt seem to budge with nay RF signals. got radios for when im out and about in the outdoors to keep in contact with groups of people if were cycling or doing other things you need radios for

i know what thats about, its the network sending updates and "where are you" singals. it happens a bit before calls as the network sends a signal the "where are you" bounces it back, then your phone rings sometimes you can asnwer the phone as soon sas "answer" comes on screen its great

yeah its only when the tubes are flashing on, i just found it mad, simlpy cause my TV does get intererance, but that recieves wireless signals, my PC doesnt unless the bluetooth adapter is plugged in. the whole thing just made me wonder..

Ok this is going to sound very strange! this has happened twice, i have a desk lamp, (halogen tube one (daylight bulb)) and twice this has happened the lamp and Base unit are approx 100cm away from each other (around a yard) and these to occasions when i have powered on my lamp, the Computers Internal Speaker beeps, (much similar to your "startup beep"!) any ideas what on gods earth this is?? cause it sure as heck has baffled me! i did think interferance, but what could it be interfereing with its not a life or death hardware issue, infact i find it a bit amusing

i fancy the little notebook if im honest, but thing is the only small one is £699 (GBP) and only has a 40GB HDD and 256 Ram what are people opinions on mac minis, i have heard they are silent, apart from a slight noise with busy CD's

on a chat theme, what is a very easy to install (no tech (php etc) knowedge needed) chat app that can be used that you can customize say in the way like PHPbb or similar, or indded can a chat room be intgeated within phpbb?

yeah im on a forum where im in excess of 10k posts its worrying to think how much "forum time" that is! i do agree with abinidi this is what does seperate TCH from the rest, the some of the other options i have seen only allow email support, these forums are a great idea, and its my first port of call if anything ever goes wrong or i simply need a bit of help

(planning ot make a few ££ out of it as well as get some VIP nights for review purposes ) my freind used WP for his group of sites, i.e [upedigreemusic[/u] that design im not sure about as ive told him, but is it viable to make a site in WP? he thinks it is. im not so sure but thinking of it for ease of use. it does look a bit boring, or would i be best using somthing else, as for this site, ive had bother with CSS in dreamweaver and tables etc and give up, so i want an easy to make soloution any ideas Thanks on advance (once again )

yeah, i have code view, code and preview and preview, im working in preview mode. and things are still evrywhere and im now using a templte w/o CSS and its just as bad, my other idea for a site im setting up is startin but still its not as it looks edir- you know what.. i hate having an LCD monitor now.. with my CRT i could hit it when i get annoyed.. i cant with LCD if i dont wanna smash it

Hello People im sorry, but i have to ask another question of all you and pick at some more knowlegeable brains from OSWD i have found a nice template ideal for a company im thinking of starting in a few years, basically one of my cities only (that ive seen) cycle courier services for little objects, i think i could do this then work up to motorcycles then a van.. anyways enough background info I downloaded a OSWD template and it has CSS in, which i like CSS im learning about it, but when i open the index page in dreamweaver well its all messed up as obviously it doesnt know what it is doing! so Navigation is missing and Styled text areas are going crazy!!! how can i get it to load in dreameaver just as it looks on my browser thanks in Advance

ok, so what it is, my PC is gettin old and slowing down, and for my Next Purchase Im considering a Mac. as i use these on my course and i like the OS. i use my home pc for, internet, a bit of design and "typing up" so thing is, what do people think of Mac OS. should i wait for the new version so i can Dual Boot windows with a Intel chip (without the beta boot camp) - edit - could a mod add Mac into the first poll question, i forgot to put it in and cant find the poll edit button!

go to your Cpanel, left hand site and there should be an option about the server status, check ftp has a "green light" thats always my first port of call!

ill have to visit that there is a few templates files under fantastico too in yoru cpanel, i think they are mainly WYSIWYG types tho

That May be, but they have this godawful timing... i'll exlplain 19th Sept last year - a huge party and gig that was a night to remember, that was the starting day on my course last year may - a forum/site massive exclusive gig i had a major deadline this one - a football tounament i wanna go to its less the time more the timing that has bugged me!

i did think that, its more just the fact i havn't always got a lot of time, and as it has done, simply finding the 100 things has took forever

im a firefoxer in my time i have tried a good few browsers, i do like to have loads installed for the purposes of testing and playing, cos hey, if it has buttons, thou shalt press it, that my freinds, is the commandment jesus simply forgot about as it was nearly lunch time.... but i think my top 3 browsers Firefox Safari Opera ive tried the new mozilla suite "seamonkey" but its just too plain, tried netscape, didnt last long! safari i like cause its very firefox-esque i hate IE with a passion, and only use it when a page hates FF, one example being odeon, (who i work for) they got under tremendous pressure for disabled accsess and compatibility. the old version would ONLY EVER work in IE, due to very bad Javascript menus! hundeedds of XHTML non compliance errors too! Firefox is now my home.. i have i set nice, brushed metal safari skin, sage for RSS, and forums like this on the top bar, is a nifty setup, also got plugins for weather and downloads.. its sweet

ive slightly cheated, i spent an extra few pennies and got a slightly (only ever so) bigger box i was going to put a paracentamol/asprin in, but without packaging, it could be mistaken! im just thinking hard about the last few whille playing on my PSP
