I suppose that you could put the folder above the public_html folder but I believe anyone that would get access to that can also get access to all folders below it. I do not know if there is another way to do it.

1. Tough to make a guarantee when many things can affect network speed that is beyond our control. I am quite satisfied with the speed of the servers though. 2. It shouldn't be much of a problem and you can ask the techs to do it for you. 3. Even though I am a mod, I volunteer here so I could answer but I will leave it to the "regular" members. 4. Billing has always been top notch for me. 5. Auto (if you mean monthly out of the account you use to pay with) and annual payments are available. If you have a question with it, post it here in the forums. We love to help. Welcome to the forums, hope to see you around here more often.

Unique looks like your domain.com to your customers and shared looks like serverxx.totalchoicehosting.com/~youraccountname Dedicated is the same as unique and it looks more professional than shared in my opinion.

Because of the resources needed for most IRC scripts and bots, they do not play well on a shared server and thus we do not allow them. You can offer any downloads as long as they are not copyrighted or you have the proper permission to do so. Welcome to the forums.

On a side note, 3 posts in 52 minutes? We are fast in these forums, but not always that fast. Patience is a virtue.

You get unlimited FTP and Email accounts. I believe we are running cPanel 10.2.0-RELEASE 25

Python 2.2.2 is installed on the servers I believe. You may want to check with the helpdesk or wait a few for someone to come along to be sure.

Phoenix. The valley is comprised of several towns that blur together. Tempe borders part of Phoenix.

We don't have good mud bugs here but the climate is nice.

Also, just for testing purposes, what happens if you bypass the router altogether? Just your one computer connected to the Internet with nothing between it to interfere with any packets.

Fortunately we are having a cooling spell. We should not get to more than 100 this week. Of course when summer gets here then we will be in our normal 110 range.

As long as it is not adult content then you can post if you want visitors from here to see it. If not, we wont yell at you. I say your traffic is pretty good.

Remember, you are offering a service and not having visitors so you might not have to do much at all. I would still check with your local department of economic security. If I were to do that here in Arizona I would not need a license as services here are not taxable. You will have to check on your own though to see what your city and state say.

Welcome to the forums Greywolf. I think Jim was talking about me.

Samantha, Not good enough. I want one for each time you mess up in the future. I believe you can get spell checkers for both Firefox and IE. Should be Spellbound and ieSpell.

Welcome home Lorraine. Anything that helps a new designer is a good thing until you start to get a grasp on things. I started with FrontPage and have slowly graduated to designing mostly by hand. If you have a way to look at the code I would so you can see what order things fall into and begin to understand how things work. From there you can hand modify things to better suit your needs.

We also make sure that new technology is stable, secure technology before considering any changes.

You can do that. Just open a ticket letting them know what you want to do once you get your new domain name.

dancedevotee, Welcome to the forums. I do not have a satisfactory answer so I cannot say for sure. Someone will be along soon that should be able to assist.

Those folders will be removed, or they were last time I tried. Remember, it deletes your .htaccess file as well so be sure to take a backup of it before removing the extensions.

Welcome to the forums. You might try super glue.
