    Windows 7

Windows 7 now for nearly two weeks on a 32bit desktop, and 64 bit desktop and one 32 bit laptop. Absolutely perfect and a delight to use. Soooo stable. Sooooo kewl. Microsoft has hit a home run!
  2. Does anyone have a PHP script that can be run as a CRON job on TCH servers that will automatically empty out a given inbox every 90 days ... or similar?

    Windows 7

I installed '7' 24 hours ago and it is running smooth and perfect ... absolutely a pleasure to use.
  4. Thank you ... problem solved by doing so!
  5. When I open a PDF from my local computer it opens fine. After I FTP to my web site, and place a link to it on a web page, clicking that link and opening the PDF results in a corrupted file message. This happens to all PDFs I put on my web site regardless of size or how it's created. Any ideas as to how to solve?
  6. Thank you and no hurry ... happy birthday to your daughter, too!
  7. Howdy ... just following up ... any feedback on how to accomplish this as in direction or help with code to create job?
  8. I would want to remove emails in all folders whether read or not. Thanx!
  9. Is it possible to have a CRON job (or other resource) that automatically deletes emails in all mailboxes on an account automatically according to a date? For example: On the first of the month go through all email boxes and delete all emails that are more than 2 weeks old? Any ideas or thoughts welcome.
  10. I love it ... and remember it. Our culture has changed, that is for sure and not for the best ... keep watching buz we're gonna see more change in the next four years than anyone bargained for as the social structure is dramatically re-written.
  11. It is true that you are as old as you feel. I recently started an aggressive regimen (well, last summer after two hits with cancer) of road bike riding. Have lost 30 pounds and can now take on some serious hills. I feel a good 10 years younger and that big stomach is disappearing really really fast. Have 30 more pounds to go and expect I'll feel another ten years younger when that hits. That'll take me back in the 30's whoo hooo! Nothing like mucho miles on a road bike - good exercise - to fight that "we're gettin' old" feeling!
  12. Anyone have any insights on using MCFileManager on TCH Shared Hosting servers? It looks like a great comprehensive standalong tool for file uploads/downloads, etc. See this link: http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/plugins_filemanager.php
  13. Looking for the temporary directory to upload a file to via PHP script.
  14. upload_tmp_dir is not set on my TCH shared server. Since it is not set where do uploaded files go - to \tmp?
  15. Thanx much for your reply. The transparency side of things shouldn't be too much of an issue for the route we're taking, but if it does become so I'll be back in touch.
  16. Thanx for the GD lead. Does anyone know if GD will work ok on TCH shared and/or managed dedicated servers?
  17. Been browsing several. I am actually looking for something a bit more robust than scripts such as an off the shelf solution. Will keep looking and if anything comes to mind please don't hesitate to send up a flag. Thanx and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
  18. Looking for a solution that I can place into my PHP pages that enables someone uploading an image file and also resizes that file to my desired sizes ... one a thumbnail, and two a larger image size. Any suggestions on what would work? Prefer a packaged solution that I could plug into my PHP pages, or a Java applet.
  19. Hi ... any suggestions on how I can run a PHP page that gets data from a MYSQL dB, puts that data into a CSV file, and then emails me that CSV and I am wanting to do this once every day .. thus a CRON job? Just don't have any idea how to create the CSV file and get it attached to an email where my big block is. Thanx for suggestions.

    Post Nuke

Anyone know if Post Nuke is still being supported or developed or if it has been replaced by something else?
  21. I've had same problem with gmail on and off -- clients sending me email and me sending them email that is not getting through. Unknown why? I've been using gmx.com email for some time now and am very pleased! You can also use your email client to send and receive with with this product. Check them at gmx.com.
  22. All of a sudden today folks who have gmail email accounts are contacting me (not via email) and telling me that they've sent me emails for the last couple of days that I haven't responded to. Those emails are not getting through to me, and they are not bouncing back. Anyone hear of anything funny with gmail happening this week?
  23. You might try contacting dlink ... http://support.dlink.com/chooseCountry.asp and let them know the switches you are using and your particular issue(s). Since it is their product they would be the masters of their software.
  24. Congrats Alex ... you've been very very helpful to many of my reseller support requests and I am sure we will continue to benefit greatly from your skill and devotion!
  25. "Constant Contact" is a great provider of this kind of service, for a fee. Do a google search. I also use authsmtp.com as my outgoing email server for my newsletters. They are inexpensive and great to work with -- they also, like TCH, work overtime making sure you don't get tagged as spam (as long as you truly are not sending spam).
