I have put in different ip addresses that showed up and still they put up the postings and it is getting annoying having to delete them.

I am trying to certain people from leaving information on my guestbook advertising certain products. If it keeps going I will have to take it down. I tried blocking their ips but there were another 10 postings today. How do I stop them.

Bruce the permissions are at 444, I was able to do it last week but my IP changed and I wanted to update the file. 1 of my sites was allowing me to update and the other was not but now the 2 of them wont allow me to update.

I tried to update the awstats config file into my tmp/awstats so that it will skip my ip but it wont allow me. Am I updating the right file or is the file located somewhere else.

i was looking for something similiar but am unable to work out what to do exactly, basically i have a list of text links on a page and i want them to rotate so to speak every now and again so that they each get a turn as the first link. do you understand or am i talking gibberish. example mayfair hotel oren hotel castle hotel becomes oren hotel castle hotel mayfair hotel when someone else goes into the page and so on so they all get a turn as the first link

I believe PPThumbs.ptn are caused by Scansoft program, is there anyway of getting rid of them they are a bloody annoying. I have to delete from my folders everytime I want upload new information on to the web. And if I forget, I have to delete them from the web, or they start taking up unnecessary space. Any advice on how to stop this, as when I delete them they appear again when I start up again.

Just bought server space and domain name. Clarification that everything was paid properly but no email with information on cpanel, ftp access and username & passwords etc. I have done this before and always received information couple of minutes later after buying, it is now more than six hours. I had to email support, could not request ticket because they look for Cpanel Username and Cpanel Password etc which I do not know because the information was not sent to me. Anyone any suggestions.

I am definitely convinced that search engines rank you better if you are not .info domain. I could be wrong but that is my experience. I know of other sites with .com names who rank better under the same keywords and are less time on the net. I dont know, perhaps I am just paranoid. Anyone else have similiar problems.

I have a program which I used I my old PC it had windows 95, now I have Windows XP but the disc wont load or open on XP, because it was to run on Win 95. I want to use the program again but can't, help!!!!!!!!

back with the "invalid email address" this time its with certain engines not accepting the .info tld again. Surely the search engines should recognise it. It is begining to be a pain in the butt. I am thinking of dropping the .info and going for a .com or something else. Does anyone else have this problem. Or anyone with some advice. Rock Sign
