Strange, I use cuteFTP all the time. Make sure it is set to passive mode.

Welcome to the forums yyk The bandwidth is monthly. You can purchase more bandwidth or upgrade to a different plan at anytime by opening a help desk ticket to support. You can see the prices of the plans and addons by clicking here More bandwidth is $2.50/gb (bottom of above link) More disk space is $1.75/per 100mb (bottom of above link) No shell access is allowed on any of the shared servers. You will have a shared ip address. You could use the help desk by entering N/A in those fields.

I feel you should install several and use the one you like best. Which one is better or worse is purely subjective to your tastes. I've used Blogger (with FTP) then MT and now I use WP. I was using MT when everyone was having problems with spam comments. WP and Spam Karma have eliminated 99.999% of all spam for me.

Congratulations. Sorry you didn't receive any help on this. Guess none of the users here are using the reminder function. I know my wife has Plans installed on her site but doesn't use the reminder feature.

Tim is correct except that you may not create links in your signature that link outside of the TCH network. Also, Thomas pointed out that as long as links don't violate the guidelines they are permitted. We do not want the forums to become a link farm. From the Forum Guidelines If you are a TCH customer, your sites will be hosted on the TCH network and you are permitted to link to them in your signature as long as it doesn't violate any of the other rules.

Have you also added your IP address to the allowed hosts in the database section of cpanel?

Hi MK, first of all cgi scripts end in .cgi or .pl and not .txt so that is the first problem. The other problem is the files must be uploaded as text files (ASCII) and their permissions must be changed to executable. Normally 755. Another thing is cgiemail has been disabled on the TCH servers because it was easy for spammers to abuse that script. You are going to have to find another form to email processing script to use.

Glad it's working for you.

Good question for the people that actually handle creating them like Verisign.

Please see the SSL page. You will access your commerce part of your site using https:// and will need some sort of shopping cart to accept payments.

Welcome to life in cyberspace. Owning a domain will get you spam. You can try lowering your threshold level that you are using to capture spam in spamassassin. This is one of the reasons I POP my mail. I have a client side program called K9 that catches 99.9% of what spamassassin misses and trashes it.
