You are probably referring to your forum software you just installed. You need to give your member id moderator or admin privledges in the admin panel of SMF under member controls.

I did read your question and since I didn't know how to determine which image or content was being hit I was offering a solution to stop that site from gaining access to yours. Sorry if you felt otherwise.

You may also want to check your settings cPanel to be sure your SA configuration transferred properly.

The first entry "links/links.html" is incorrect. According to the instructions: >$filename = "/server/path/to/links.html"; Path Location of your links.html file. It should be "/home/yourcPanelname/public_html/links/links.html" Also, your database variable is wrong: It should be: "/home/yourcPanelname/public_html/database.txt" Make sure you upload all these files in ASCII mode and not Binary and set the permissions accordingly. Or maybe this would work better. ><Directory /> Order allow,deny Allow from all Deny from forum-domain.com </Directory> This would prevent the forum from accessing anything on your site.

You could try something like this in your .htaccess file. >order allow,deny deny from .forum-domain.com allow from all

Harware failures do occur. Not very often but they do happen. There was no time to send an email to all customers of the server when the drive started failing but the server forum was updated as to what had happened and what was being done to restore service. Everyone should subscribe to the proper forum for the server they are on. When ever something happens with a server these forums are updated. Also, it is ultimately the responsibility of each user to maintain backups of their accounts.

That is correct. You may receive a warning about the certificate but once you accept it you should not see it again until it's renewed on the server.

In Thunderbird check your SMTP (outgoing server) and be sure that SSL is not selected. You should select No instead.

The only time I've seen the security cert notice appear is if I am sending secure email and once you accept the cert it goes away. If you are using port 25 or 26 for sending mail you are not using SSL however if you are using port 465 you are.
