TCH-Bruce replied to queenpictoria's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
What email program are you using? Set your SMTP to your domain and make sure you set it to authenticate using your email address and password. -

You will have no problems. When people hit reply it will go to your domain email address. I do this all the time without issue. -

Transferring A Domain - Mailserver Issues Possibly?
TCH-Bruce replied to RudeMood's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I would set up the email addresses prior to switching the domain over to the TCH servers. Some of the email after the switch will end up on the old host and some will end up on your new site here at TCH. There are a couple of things you can do to make sure you receive all email. When I moved our company site to TCH I did the following. I created a new account in my email program for TCH using the IP number given to me in the welcome email for everyone. I also changed my old account to use the IP address my previous host gave me. We received email in both accounts for about a week. When no more email was going to the old host I deleted the account from my email program. I could have set up forwards to an external account not associated with our domain. -

Better solution is to use what Tim suggested and do away with the spam box and set up spam assassin to modify the subject and filter it in your email client.
-
Looks like another duplicate to me!

Ok, if you are using an email client and not using IMAP you will not be able to see the SPAM folder unless you access it as an email account. user@domain.ext/spam That's why I recommend that you tag the SPAM and forego the SPAM box.
-
I don't use the SPAM box but there is 1 for each user. It would be in their folder list under your domain name. Instead of using the SPAM box why not rewrite the subject of the SPAM email and have your email client filter it. Or will you be using webmail exclusively? You can also create a filter in cPanel to forward all mail tagged as SPAM to a specific email address.

Move And/or Rename A Subdomain
TCH-Bruce replied to LeeGoldsmith's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
You can create new sub domains which will create folders of the sub domain name. You can then delete the folder it creates and rename your existing folder the name of the sub domain. Then remove the old sub domain. And please don't bump threads! -
Doesn't your admin panel in phpBB tell you what version you are running? Is it the current version? If not upgrade again.

Welcome to the forums JimC A little more info is going to be required. Did you upload the page to the server? Have you cleared you cache and looked? Microsoft Word is a word processing program and not really a web page editor.
