This is a very old thread and it's likely that this will no longer work in IE since they keep changing passing login information with the URL.

Upload Multiple Files To Public_html
TCH-Bruce replied to izapem's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Odd, did you get an error uploading it? -
Invision is no longer free, hasn't been for about 2 years now. Thus the reason it is no longer available. phpBB while one of the most popular forum software packages is also susceptible to being hacked. While you can still download and install it on an account hosted here as Don says it is your responsibility to keep any software you install updated.

Email Issues W/ An Exchange Account
TCH-Bruce replied to Zach's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I'm sorry that nobody has responded but there is no need to bump threads. Apparently the right person has not read the thread yet. -
Maybe this will help.

Upload Multiple Files To Public_html
TCH-Bruce replied to izapem's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Welcome to the forums Jon Use an FTP client like FileZilla. You can tag all your files and upload them. Or you can zip the files on your computer, upload the zip file to the server and using File Manager in cPanel extract the contents of the zip file. -
Nice tutorial joefish. Very complete.

Have you followed the installation instructions and does your computer meet their requirements? I believe it requires a working version of Internet Explorer be installed.

As a personal preference I use a different user/password for each database. But that's just my preference. You can do it either way. Using the same user/pass combination I feel is not such a good idea. If my user/pass combination is hacked and I was using the same for all my databases they would have access to everything.

The Plugin Manager plugin is no longer usable with version 2.0 of Wordpress and I think it has been discontinued. As for the importing of a Blogger blog others have been able to do it. The "Curl" error is something the help desk will have to help you with. Some people have had problems and for others it just worked.

Just name the database something you have not already created. Once created the database name will be your-cpanelname_name-you-create. See the movie tutorial

Welcome to the forum Andy Sets the variable $salearn to where the sa-learn program is on the server in 'usr/bin' I am unsure on what this is. As I stated in the original post I did not write the script only copied it from somewhere else which I no longer remember where.

The one I've mentioned to people is NVU. It is a WYSIWYG editor.

You don't have to start from scratch but it probably would be for the best if you did as frontpage throws a lot of extra stuff into the html for a web page. You could publish to your hard drive in a different folder and open any of the html files with any text editor.

Great, glad we could help.
