As part of our continuing effort to improve our network and the services that we deliver, our network technicians will be replacing a Rack Distribution Switch on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10PM - 12AM (EST). If you received an e-mail regarding this maintenance notice then this affects you. This procedure is very straight forward and we anticipate no more than 20 minutes of downtime.
  4. Sorry to hear you are having issues! WordPress usually doesn't require 'abnormal' permissions but I believe 755 should be for the directories and 644 for the files.   6. Please try account level filtering. You can access it via cPanel > Account Level Filter (under the 'Mail' category). You want to 'Create a New Filter' from there using the following technique: Using 192.168.0.0/24 as an example. Rules: Any Header, Matches Megex, 192\.168\.\d{1,3}\.\d{1,3} Action: Discard Message Please also see the attached imagine

  8. I agree. There's no catching up to Android or iOS. IMO if Microsoft can't do it, Blackberry can't.
  9. Hi Lee, You can try to enable and configure Spam Assassin via cPanel, located in the 'Mail' section. You can also set up rules via 'Account level filtering' in the mail section of cPanel as well. Dealing with spammers is never fun and sometimes takes a little time to fix, but if you set up enough rules and filters you should be able to tackle it. Best of luck.

  16. Hi Mike, I'm assuming he tried resetting the modem and router, if he did not; please advise him to do that. I usually unplug both for a few minutes. Do you recall if you had manually set an IP address (or DNS server address) under the TCP/IPv4 settings via the Local Area Connection Properties? There might be conflicting settings which many be causing this issue. He may want to reset the TCP/IP settings on his machine. In Windows XP it can be done like this: Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections. Right-click the network connection that you want to configure, and then click Properties. On the General tab (for a local area connection), or the Networking tab (for all other connections), click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties. Click Optain an IP address automatically and click Obtain DNS server address automatically. If this does not work there are some other options to try as well.

  23. Bruce - Use the compatibility I linked to, you should be able to use those plugins IMO FireFox has gone down hill the past few years, it feels like what was once the fastest browser is now one of the slowest.
  24. What does everybody think? I just upgraded and noticed that Google toolbar is not compatible. If you are having this issue you can install the Compatibility Reporter Add-On for FireFox (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/). This will enable you to install add-ons that aren't compatible with the new version.
