I thought this would be easy but there are several .php files that are not even mentioned in the instructions.

I have seen a few different types of quizzes online but this one is different because it tracks the high scores of the students. I'm trying to alter this .cgi script below to replace .midi with .mp3 files. I want to know first if this can be done without causing any problems with the script itself. If it can be done safely do I just replace all of the {'midifile'} with {'mp3file'}? Here is the script below.

Can someone please explain how to make the "simple guestbook" work? I have created a html page that matches my site for the actual guestbook page to sign. Now what do I do? How do I get it to work after I add the code to display the form? Do I need the template since I have the html page I made or is the template for the output page? How do I add it to my cgi-bin? What do I add to my cgi-bin, the html page? As you can see I am completely lost and I've tried everything I know. If anyone could answer these questions or just explain the steps involved in adding a simple gusetbook it would be great. The cpanel documentation was'nt really helpful to me.

CGI Scripts>Simple Guestbook>Edit Guestbook Template>Editing Default Html Template..... Mad!!!

I'm pretty sure it just said "default template". Can you just check yours and see, the settings are probably the same?

I made a mistake by deleating my default template and I remember there was some code located in it that said don't edit or something to that effect. I was wondering if someone could check out there default tempate in the c panel and post what it is so I can add it? Also, do I need to place the cgi script that they give in th cgi-bin or just place it in the html of my webpage?
