In your admin > Forum Permissions Control > select a forum change permissions of each forum to suite. i.e. POST and REPLY set to REG (registered) There is a lot of control in the admin panel if you look around, you will be surprised

It may depend on what e-mail you use for the forum, just a guess, but if you use hotmail or other free email maybe they are going into a junk or spam folder and need to be added to an authorized list? As I say just a guess.

This has been a mystery to me, as I get all the e-mails even when still logged in and browsing the forums. This is how my controls for the forum are set: Option > email settings > Board Preferences checked - Send a confirmation email when I receive a new private message Enabling this option will send an email confirmation of any new private messages sent to you. checked - Enable 'Email Notification' by default? Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to. To subscribe to a forum, I goto the bottom of the page and select Subscribe to this forum Then in my controls > Subscriptions > view forums I see the various forums that I subscribe to. I do have SpamAssassin on and set *@totalchoicehosting.com in the white list. I don't know if that helps, but that what I have and it works for me.

Or you can get a cgi counter in your cpanel > cgi scripts. It may be close to what you had, and can be styled and set to a starting number. We really are like family here. Normailly the A and CNAME records point to your domain, and should already be set. You can ftp to your site anytime using the IP address / user name / password in your welcome e-mail under the ftp section. We really are like family here. Hi Hazel, welcome! I am sure that you looked in your gmail trash, spam and all folders. So how about re-openingyour support ticket and ask that the welcome e-mail be resent to another address like your ISP address, I can assure you no spam will result from tch having your ISP address. Thats what I use and no spame ever. Hang in there, it will be worth it.
