  2. As a hand coder I can tell you that CSB is a great progam it creates code that is readable in ALL browsers and lets you concentate on the task. The detractors do not take the time to see how it works or why it creates the code the way it does. I code by hand because its fun, some people use a hand saw because they enjoy it, I use a power saw, because I want the job done now. Its all a matter of what you want to do and what you want to concentrate on. So pay no attention to them.

  4. First look at the zip file to see the contents. Does it contain folders and files or just a folder. if it has files like index.php and other folders with the same names as are inside the mt folder, then you need to upload it inside the mt folder and select the zip file by clicking on the name (not the folder icon) and select extract file contents on the right. If it has just a folder with the same name as your mt folder then upload it above the mt folder as it will extract into the same folder name. There should be instructions telliing you where to upload the update zip file to. Hope this makes sense.

  6. There are a few things you can change listed in our Third Party Script Tutorials And besides the IBP site user guide they have a page for Unofficial Third-Party Resource that may help. My advice, is to use ftp to download the files you want to change and have a back up.

You will find an ftp program easier to use than cpanels file manager. with two side by side windows, you can navagate to a folder on your site and your computer folder in the other window, select the files and drag them and drop in the window on your site.

  15. After you create the database, you need to create a user and then add that user to the database. All in mysql in cpanel. Then look at the sample connect strings that shows what goes in the config part of your script. like cpanelname_databasename and cpanelname_username

  25. If they need to add e-mail accounts themselfs, they need cpanel. If you are a reseller, you can modify their account to use x-mail theme for their cpanel. It only has e-mail If you need to do something for them using a normal cpanel just modify account and change their cpanel back to normal, do whatever, and change their cpanel back.
