I had to modify the entry form to remove the home url field and I added www and http to the curse words. I know what you mean I have to edit or remove entries daily. I am considering changing to a different guestbook.

Hi David ( waves ) I use a program called TextBridge for OCR scanning and save to wordperfect or any word processor document type. they do a good job with text and fair with text and pics.

You may want to get an html text editor it will let you edit and create pages easier. Sheryl, that sams book is a very good one, they also have one for html, that was my first html book and it made a big difference seeing it put together on paper for me. The DOCTYPE is the first line in the html or xhtml code. It tells the browser how to display the page. there are two types used the most html4 and xhtml both have variations like Loose, Transitional and Strict. You can find out more at w3schools. I think you should stick with the strict coding like <br /> as this is the way of the future and will help to make your pages look the same in most browsers. Do you have an html editor? if so most will help you select the DOCTYPE when you create a new web page.

In your blogghost cpanel > backup click on the link for download home directory (not full backup) also click on the links to download all your databases and e-mail filters and alias. This will give you compressed backups of everything. Of course you will have to edit some things to change the user name if you were to upload them here. It is easier to open a help ticket here and ask the techs to copy your account over to here. They will need your info for both accounts.
