  1. I don't think much of the cpanel auto setup for outlook express. Its better to set it up in outlook express remember if its the user account user = your-tch-username if it is for an e-mail account you set up user = name@your-tch-domain and for pop and smtp use mail.your-tch-domain

  15. If you are looking to try a new forum you may want to take a look at Simple Machines Forum Updates are done through the admin panel package manager.
  16. You are on the right track. I did the same with a new account where I installed dadamail copied the dada_files folder to the root changed permissions to 777 and it seems to work. I made changes in the list and they took. What things are not running smoothly?

  20. Thats why I suggested to create a new forum not use the copy the copy will access the old database. A new install will create its own empty database. Then follow my steps above to to copy the old database posts and categories and import into the new database.

After you create second forum goto mysql (which is where you create databases by the way) at the bottom of mysql goto phpmyadmin select current database on the left after it loads, click export, click select all below the word export check below save as file, compression zipped click GO at right select save to disk browse to a folder on your computer then on lthe left select the new forum database select at top SQL at bottom find Location of the textfile: browse to file on your computer leave compression on autodetect, click go
  22. TCH has no control over the folks at cpanel and how offten they update cpanel scripts. Its always better to install yourself. There are very clear instructions in the download. However you may find on the download page an upgrade of changed files.
