Did you follow the advice from above? Routing problems is the usual reason. If it were the server the techs would know right away.

Yes it is just a blank white page. It keeps the list of images and folder below hidden.

I put a blank page in my image folder

Yes do keep notes of what you did, even what did not. A notebook like that will help with other instals in the future.

Actually this policy is the very reason I am here and not with my last host that allowed it. They went under because it was abused by customers. The servers were overloaded and my site was hardly ever there. If TCH changes the policy I may leave. But they will not, so I am safe.

I am guessing you need to change the admin password from the default?
-
Try using your cpanel > filemanager or an ftp program to browse to the cart folder and look for the admin file.

Welcome to the forum Johnny You can register the domain name here or wherever you wish. When you get a hosting account you will get the directions on pointing the domain name to your account. You can start with one package and if you need more space or bandwidth (all traffic to and from your site) you can open a help desk ticket to upgrade to a bigger package. Totalchoicehosting will provide the web space, but its up to you to create and maintain the site. There are many ways and programs to do this, so you can see TCH cannot support all the possible programs that are out there. There are two shopping cart scripts that can act as an on line store found in your cpanel (web site control panel) and can be installed with a few mouse clicks. But they have a steep learning curve. I am sure others will have more advice on this. Again in your cpanel you can install two forums: Invision - the last free version and not supported by the creators. phpBB - more popular as it is still free and their forum has lots of good information on using and modifying it. And you can download others from the internet and follow their instructions on installing. The posts in your forum are stored in what is called a MySql server (database) and you can make your own backups in cpanel>backu> download databases. Hopefully this helps. if you have more questions, please ask

Don't forget to back up the forum folder and databases (cpanel>backup> download database) first. I keep another forum to update first to see if there are any problems.
