I am new to the forum and am hoping to get some help with a problem on my recently developed web site. I uploaded my web files yesterday to the public_html folder. Everything worked great with the exception of one jpeg file. The image will not display. It worked fine when I created the page but it will not display on the live web site. I don't see any errors in the html source file or with the image file. The file name, extension, case, etc. all match. My other 2 images loaded fine. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks for you help!

The image it is supposed to display is "motiveforcecover.jpg" and it should be in your public_html folder along with your web pages. Is it?

Second this is a Linux server so if the file name has any capital letters in it they should be reflected in the HTML. Well I just re-read your post and you say the case is correct for the file name. :(

Since I can't see the contents of the public_html folder does this help?

Have you checked to make sure it uploaded? Looks like the link is going to your main public_html folder, not a subfolder. Did it get uploaded to the right spot?

Thanks for your help!! I found the problem - I inadvertently capitalized the .jpg file extension in the image file, but had it in lower case in the html file. Oops.... I corrected the problem and the image displayed. Thanks again to everyone.
