Upgrading My Hosting Package

Hello TCH Team. I need to Upgrade my hosting package. Right now I have the $5 dollar one. But I need the next level up. How do I do it? I need to do it immediatley, Im in a middle of a project.

You would be best to submit a support ticket and they can give you instructions for doing this asap. =)

YAY! it's etup, but now I have another problem. Im trying out an evaluation copy of Cute_ftp 6 Pro. And I can login just fine, and navigate. But it won't allow me to create folders. Can you help me?

I answered in the Help Desk ticket but as I mentioned there I was able to create a folder using CoreFTP. You would need to be sure that there is no setting in CuteFTP that is preventing you from creating directories. You can try out CoreFTP for free at coreftp.com.

I downloaded core ftp. and I set it up. now i cannot connect, this is what it gives me:

You should be connecting to ftp.domain.ext

 

remote directory = public_html

I am not a CuteFTP user, but will look into this.

Could you tell me (through PM... not in this thread) the domain and username format (does not have to be actual, but I need the format used... user@domain.ext or just username) you are using to connect. I do NOT want your password, as I do not plan to log in, just check settings.

I suspect that it is that you are trying to create folders under the root folder and not the public_html one, or a username issue.

 

Maybe someone else will have a good reply in the meantime.

Other wise if your site has not propagated yet,

you need to use the site IP as per your welcome mail

in place of the ftp.****

 

just paste the ip in the ftp window by itself.

God I love ftp programs if it doesnt ruin your life one way it will the other. How do I make core ftp stop trying to download files? Im trying to download a patch for my game and core tries to pick it up. I just want my normal download pop up.
