OK, HeadGuru reports he doesn't have the post viewing problem I do. Just for the record I'm stumped. I don't see anything below the Quote/Reply for my last post at 3:11. I'm not seeing the Enter Keyword, FastReply AddReply, Network, # of Users reading, etc. (writing this while looking at another thread, as I thought the bottom of this problem thread looked funny).

 

I'm using IE for what it's worth. I'm just wondering if another post might cure the problem for me.

 

Head Guru, Bill, or moderators, feel free to delete this if you want (and if you're not having the same problem) since it's clearly off topic.

All if fixed and I'm CERTAIN it has something to do with a new page starting or about to start. As I have had this happen before and just thought it was a glitch and didn't follow up on it. But now two times when at the end of a page/start of a new page of posts is too coincidental.

 

Has anyone else ever seen this before???

I'm with Rob, never had that happen.

 

You might want to clear your cache and do a CRTL-F5 the next time it happens for you. And if it still occurs you could delete your cookie for the board and that should solve the problem.

was wondering if anyone is able to help me with this. i generated the code for my msn username, and tried to paste it into my signature. each time i get the following error:

 

"The error returned was:

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif

"

Not sure but it sounds like its seeing both one and gif as the file extension.

i wanted to post the code i get to paste into here, but i can't even do that, as i get the same error.

 

both alternates dont work in the signature, giving the above error.

would be neat if this works, though it's not essential...

If you want to post what you are using you can probably enclose it in CODE and /CODE inside brackets. I'll add an extra space here to show you what I mean.

 

[ CODE]put your code in here but take out the spaces next to the brackets. [ /CODE]

 

Remember to remove any private information such as IM user names - these forums are very well ranked and any spiders out there looking for things like that will definitely see it.

I have tried it and received the same error message. Guess it's not working.

 

You can try something like this as in HG's signature.

Replace the "your-aim-id" with your AIM name.

 

For MSN try this:
