gaberville Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 I register for hosting and transfered my domain a couple of days ago. Now when I try to go to my web site all I see is : TCH Network Operations Center Please refer to your welcome email for instructions on viewing your Web Site. Thank You. I have read my email many times, but still don't know whats going on. It seem some people can access my site while others cant. This is pretty new to me so i'm not really sure what's going on. My site is parkinglotparty.com Thanks Gabe Quote
TCH-Rob Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 (edited) Works for me. Nuke site right? Blue color? I am going to say it is because propagation has not completed on all of the root servers across the internet and that some ISP cache information is not updated yet. At this point all one can do is hang in there. Edited November 25, 2003 by TCH-Rob Quote
gaberville Posted November 25, 2003 Author Posted November 25, 2003 Yeah Thats right. I cant get it from my home computer. It works if I type in the IP address that was sent to me, but not by the url. I wonder if my isp's dns hasn't updated yet? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Works from here (West Texas) I would imagine DNS propagation hasnt completed yet. Quote

gaberville Posted November 26, 2003 Author Posted November 26, 2003 well It just started working here a little while ago. It had to be my isp that was causing the problem. Thanks For the help. Quote
jslagle Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 One of the unwritten rules about DNS propogation is that the person who loaded the site on the web is the LAST person in the world who will be able to see the site. Quote
