roadmap Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 How much is it to upgrade from a starter plan to a silver plan? And how would I go about doing so? Quote
borfast Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 I belive you only need to pay the difference. To do that, submit a help desk ticket Quote
roadmap Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 Thank borfast. Anyone have any sure answers. Quote
TCH-JimE Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 (edited) Hi, Its very easy, 1st submit a help ticket stating that you wish to upgrade your account. Then (depending on how you pay) either money will be refunded back to you and then you pay for the new amount or you just change the monthly amount you pay. We then click a button, sit back and have a coffee and the server upgrades the account for us, and we email you back telling you its all done. Jim Edited September 4, 2003 by Jimuni Quote
roadmap Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 What kind of coffee? I just wanted to know the exact price it would cost before I commit to it, I know it's not much. Quote
TCH-JimE Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Hi, Have you payed monthly or in one big sum? Jim Quote
roadmap Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 I payed for one year, the basic plan. Why cant you guys just tell me how much it is? Quote
borfast Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 (edited) Be cool, roadmap, no need to stress. I didn't tell you how much it was because it's not my department. I could have told you to go to the Web Hosting Plans page and check out the prices but since I was not sure, I didn't want to say anything else. The bottom line is that you will need to submit a helpdesk ticket to upgrade your account or to know how to proceed about the payment. I can't tell you how that will work because I don't know and I'm not sure if Jim knows, either. It has to be someone from the "acouting department" to answer that one for you Trust me, someone will answer your question. You just need to have some patience and wait for the right person to come read your post Edited September 4, 2003 by borfast Quote
phatfunkjazz Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Yo roadmap, I'm doing the exact account upgrade you are: FROM Starter Plan TO Silver Plan. Here's what I was told, submit a Help Ticket stating the change you want. They'll send you a link to the billing service that will ask you for payment. Once you do that, send a copy of your new receipt via the Help Ticket you opened. Then TCH will cancel your existing account (you'll get a refund for the unused months of service, so you'll see a credit and a new charge on your bank statement). Then TCH will begin a new account for you. It's my belief that you will NOT lose any existing data, but will see an upgraded amount of disk storage and bandwidth. If TCH support staff finds any incorrect information, please correct me. I'm just stating what I know about the upgrade process from a newbie perspective. I really want to be clear for myself before pressing the "SEND" button. peace, Stefan Quote
TCH-JimE Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Hi, The reason being I was unable to tell you is that I was unsure of your method of payment, it would look rather stupid if I told you one thing, only to find its another, hence I like to wait until I know. Right, basically submit a help ticket to the help desk, they will provide a link for you to pay for the upgrade to the account you want. To work out how much it will cost, deduct from the cost of your new account, the cost sof your old account. Jim Quote
Head Guru Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Have you submitted your upgrade ticket yet? If so have we processed it yet? Just making sure your all taken care of! Bill Quote
