dsimmons Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 Howdy This morning I received the following e-mail from server8.totalchoicehosting.com: The mailbox aggiedad@agwagon.us is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon as possible to prevent losing any future mail. This mailbox is currently 80.13% full. I was taken aback since all mail from this account is to be forwarded. So I went to Cpanel and checked the account. There is nothing there. Do you have any ideas? Thanks! I've received those messages as well and I'm sure others would be interested too. I think I eliminated the problem by setting my email program (Outlook Express) to NOT leave messages on the server once I download them to my own computer. But Don says he checked his account and there's nothing there. Odd. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 If you want the mail to be forwarded and not stored on the server you should only set up the account as a forwarder. There is no need to create the account in the Manage Accounts section. If there is an email account set up for me@**** and a forwarder for that address going to me@anotherdomain.com you will get email in both accounts. The me@**** mail will be stored on the server until it is deleted. As Jim mentioned, please open a Help Desk ticket and we can look at the account closer and be sure that there is not something wrong. Quote
