TCH-Ryan Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 We will be conducting work on our core switching infrastructure this through the next few hours, we do not expect any downtime to be caused from this work as we add additional fault tolerance into the network. However please be advised that there may be intermittent connectivity issues should we encounter unforeseen issues and need to reroute some existing cabling or similar. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to have this operation completed promptly.
TCH-Ryan Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 We have completed the network maintenance and there should be no further issues going forward.
Head Guru Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 and let me be the first to say the new routing gear is SEXY !!!
Head Guru Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Here is what we installed today. A Cisco 6509 Router with all the goodies. The large box on top is the new unit. Can you say 18TB of RAID 1 redundant storage? The new silver rack mount box is our latest backup server that is going into production today. :)
