YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO PAY THE AMOUNT STATE ABOVE UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER." letter in my mail today. It was for Annual Website Search Engine Listing for a year for $37.50... I recently did some research for my mother, and she is now in a class action lawsuit against a company for making charges on her credit card without her approval. They were using a scam called "negative response", which means, if they don't get something back from you stating that you do NOT want their service, they take it to mean that you do want it and sign you up for it anyway. You may think this can't happen because they don't have your CC #, but the bank that my mother got her CC through had sold her CC # to the company I speak of. Just remember, you can't be too careful!
