pablo0713 Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Anything wrong with awstats? I haven't had a problem with it until a few days ago. It hasn't updated since 21st of August. Any suggestions? Pablo Rios www.pablorios.com Quote
Lisety Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I just noticed that mine haven't updated since Aug. 22. Seems like something is up. Lise Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 From another post, written by TCH-Andy (Click here to read the rest of the story) The stats do not update overnight if there was a medium to high load on the server at the time they were trying to run. Also, Welcome to the forum, pablo0713. Quote
Lisety Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Thanks Thomas, I'll bet that's what happened. Lise Quote
TCH-Don Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Whoops! where are my manors Welcome to the forum Pablo Quote
awilltx Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I noticed that mine had not run since 21 Aug @ 19:51 so I sent a trouble ticket and they ran awstats on my domain (server78), but I wonder if they just ran it for me or everybody else? Quote
Head Guru Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Just because your stats did not update doesn't indicate that others stats did the same. Most likely the tech only ran your stats. Quote

Montty Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Like Pablo0713, my stats are stuck to zero since the 22nd - (last update happened on 21 aug 2005 19:06) - Opening a ticket now!! Quote
waynemac Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Just to add my 2 cents worth. I just checked my AWstats and they hadnt automatically updated since Aug 22. Did a manual update and the stats were all there. Seems to be an auto-updating prob. Wayne Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Once again, the stats program is scheduled to run each evening. If the load happens to be high on the server when the logs are supposed to be run they will be skipped so it doesn't bring the server down. It should pick back up the next evening. If it fails to update for several days please open a ticket with the help desk and they will get it going again. Quote
Lisety Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I just submitted a ticket about this since my stats haven't been updated since Aug. 22. Is there perhaps some other way to deal with this issue than submitting a ticket? Maybe a forum post or ? Lise Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 It has to be handled through the help desk. The mods don't have access to the servers or your account and the staff doesn't frequent the forum 24/7. Quote
MathsIsFun Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I am beginning to think it is a wider issue. I have the same problem - No update since 21 Aug 2005 - 19:38, and bandwidth is not updating either. It doesn't worry me at the moment. I will probably submit a ticket in a day or so if it doesn't clear up. Quote
Vintage Lover Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 My website is brand new, but I know I have had visitors. Why does my Stats page say 0? Where do I Manually update? Sandra Quote
TweezerMan Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 You have to submit a ticket to the Help Desk in order to have your AWStats manually updated. Quote
TweezerMan Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Go here, and click on the "Submit a Ticket" link. (The link to the Help Desk is also at the top of every page in the forum.) Quote
Vintage Lover Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Thanks David. I opened one last night, but still no update. This is kind of disappointing because I was used to having daily updates on my last host =( Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Did you get a confirmation that the ticket was submitted? The help desk is quick to respond and you should have had an answer by now. Check the status of the ticket by clicking the link in the confirmation email that it was submitted or check the status by logging into the help desk. Quote
