DoubleM Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 I am signing up for a yearly package (the GOLD) But at the screen where you enter in your credit card number, there is a note: Gold Hosting Plan - $164.00 Yearly Note: This is a recurring transaction. Your account will be charged every 30 days 164.00 USD. Please tell me it's a slight error and you're not going to charge me that amount every month. Quote
DoubleM Posted April 27, 2003 Author Posted April 27, 2003 Ok, it appears to have been a little bug in the system. I contacted Rick about it and then he reffered me to the Operator (it was Mich online at the time). They were both very helpful. Mich was able to look up my order and tell me that he doesn't see anywhere in the order that there would be a monthly fee. So because of his reassurance and his and Rick's availability and patience, I have completed the sign up. Honestly, I am quite blown away by the fact there were 2 representatives (3 if you count 1stOver's response to my other post this morning) online on a Sunday, able to answer my questions right away. I've never experienced it before (and I've used 3 or 4 different hosts over the years). Thanks again. Quote
Head Guru Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Where was I when all this fun was taking place? I always am gone when the fun stuff happens. Quote
bethohio3 Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 You were sleeping, Bill. The other gurus have banded together to ensure that all fun stuff happens during the 3 hours of sleep you permit yourself every day. It has been very difficult for them, since your sleep schedule is not only minimal, but also unscheduled. However, since they are so incredibly competent, they are managing to make it work out even though they can't predict when those 3 hours are going to be. --Beth Quote
TCH-JimE Posted April 29, 2003 Posted April 29, 2003 It takes ages to predict it, organise it and then get it all right so it happens well Bill is asleep Quote
