TCH-Thomas Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Lots of us in the TCH family are from places where the daylight saving time begins this weekend. If you are one of us, don´t forget to set your clocks, so you don´t miss anything! If you don´t know if you are affeced, please see http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst2005a.html Quote
TCH-Tim Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Not a big fan of the daylight saving thing. If you want more sunlight, get up earlier. Quote

Thankfully it's not Easter weekend this year - sure makes sunrise services a bear to get up for! Quote
DaemonLee Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Frankly, I already get up at 4:30AM to start my day....Don't really care, but I might be getting up at 5:30AM now for DST. Quote
woodygap Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 (edited) Thanks for the reminder Thomas. I had forgot all about that. Sure is a nasty wet and windy weekend for the little ones and their egg hunts here in Oregon. flashram Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 And some of us go off Daylight saving time in other parts of the world as well. So there is basically a 2 hour swing around. Quote
carbonize Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Daylight saving time, or British Summer Time as we call it, is a outmoded concept. Why do we need it? Pick one or the other and stick with it. GMT seemed to work fine for people for a long time. Quote
