MagooGirl
Howdy! I've been a very satisfied TotalChoice customer for awhile now. While I like the new look of the site redesign, the entire top menu bar (macromedia creation, I assume) fails to properly render or function in Firefox. It's a little annoying when I'm forced to open up the barely-semi-compliant IE to view a site. Any chance of this being rectified? (I do have the latest macromedia plug-in's installed, etc.) So, I'm not really complaining (again, I am so thrilled with the hosting and recommend TCH to all my clients) as I do like the over look and feel of the redesign - I just didn't know where else to put this comment! Apologies if this has already been mentioned elsewhere! Thanks for the great service and value. MagooGirl
Head Guru
While I am not a firefox fulltimer, I did just load the main page and the top menu bar did work for me. I will pass this along to our marketing team for review. Thanks for the heads up. Bill
MagooGirl
Thanks for such a speedy reply! I've cleared my cache more than a few times, double checked my plug-in's and settings, rebooted and the whole nine yards. The top menu just continually reloads over and over again so it's impossible to click on anything (the pop-up menus don't work either). Thanks again for the quick reply! LisaJill
That's odd, I use firefox full time and have no problems, but I'm on OSX. If i may ask - what version of firefox are you using and have you seen any flash problems wiht other sites?

Gail
Hi All, I use IE as my browser but I did download Firefox (version 1.0) a few days ago to see what all the hype was about. I just checked TCH Home Page using Firefox and the top menu bar also worked okay for me. Gail
TCH-Dick
I've checked the site several times on more than one machine. I have been reworking the site for a couple of weeks now and I use FireFox. Everything checks out OK, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Please go to the following link using FireFox and make sure that both movies load. If they do not both load then you are going to have trouble seeing flash on some sites. http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome/
MagooGirl
Thanks for the ideas - both movies (as mentioned below from the link) load and are viewed with no problems. It has to be something in my system - but goodness knows what! I'm using Firefox 1.0 (not the preview release candidate) on Windows XP with SP2. I don't seem to have problems on other sites that have flash. Perhaps I'll try reinstalling the plug-ins again just to make sure something's not goofy with them. I'm glad that others aren't having problems, but leads me on a new expedition to find out what the heck is going on. Again, I'm not trying to be critical or even complaining as adore TCH! MagooGirl
Woohoo! Problem solved. I downloaded the uninstaller for both flash player and shockwave and then reinstalled both - the site works fine now. Sorry for causing trouble! thanks again for all the input - MagooGirl
