Zoneraver Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 I Already have my domain and have transfered it to TCH on my email it say If you have transferred your domain to TotalChoice, you >MUST visit your registrar and update your DNS >pointers to the following I understand the theory but what is my registrar? how do i point from my hosts to yours? sorry if this is a really silly question guys lol Alan Quote
TCH-Rick Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 The registrar is the company you used to register the domain. You can change the nameservers for the domain with them to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com so that the domain will point here. Please provide your domain name and we can check further. Quote

TCH-Thomas Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 If they have some kind of control panel for changing this info, yes, then you should be able to fix it yourself. Quote

Zoneraver Posted November 9, 2004 Author Posted November 9, 2004 one thing it says my domain is still with streamline which makes me cringe at the though I thought it was going to transferred to TCH my nre hosts like the other times ive swapped domains over Am i missing something? Alan Quote
TCH-Rob Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Alan, Changing name servers is not the same as changing registrars. I see you changed name servers Name servers listed in order: ns1.totalchoicehosting.com 64.246.50.105 ns2.totalchoicehosting.com 65.254.32.122 That part is taken care of, you cannot change registrars to have us as the registrar as we do not have the capacity to control .co.uk domains yet.
