I'm currently running with a shared plan, I am running a company and flash gaming system plus downloading and upload files, would it be better to change to a dedicated server like one you have for $79.00? I really could use the bandwidth, if that would increase. Or am I just wasting my money...

Thanks Harry www.ezsave4you.com  Rock Sign

One slight problem is that I do not believe we are taking any more dedicated customers at the moment. With a site that has alot of files going back and forth it can be a good idea to have your own server but it depends on the load your site is creating on the server as to wheather you need to upgrade.

Thanks for the quick reply, I guess your right. The only thing that I was looking for was the increase in bandwith.... But, right now every thing seems to be working fine I guess as the old saying goes, if it a'nt broken don't fix it.... I've got the top hosting with the share account here, so if I need more I could always add on.....

The $79 plan is semi-dedicated, not dedicated. As far as I know, those are still available.

It would give you more space and bandwidth (semi-dedicated 10 GB space, 95 GB bandwidth, versus the highest shared plan of 2 GB space, 55 GB bandwidth).

I would probably recommend just waiting a little bit, though, and see how your bandwidth for the month is shaping up first. You may find 55 GB/month is more than you need. If not, it's pretty simple to upgrade.

Is the $79 semi-dedicated server plan just like the shared reseller plan except with fewer people and more disc space and bandwidth?

Please tell me which of the following are correct:

I would not have shell access.

I would have to make sure none of my programs used too much resources.

I would not be able to use any of the "banned scripts".

I would have no control over what libraries are installed.

I could not have running services/daemons that listened on ports like streaming media server.

I could not resell "reseller accounts"

Thanks! :)
