Hugo Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Hi !! I registered the Silver Hosting Plan last friday (27th Aug) with the option of registering a domain. Paid $55 and everything seemed alright. It has been 4-5 days and i'm still waitting for the domain to be registered. Is this normal to take so much time? Or did i do something wrong? Thank you! TCH-Thomas Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 No, this is not right. Please submit a helpdesk ticket. Link on top of page. Quote
Hugo Posted September 1, 2004 Author Posted September 1, 2004 Hi! I already did.. yesterday.. but noone replied yet. Hugo Quote
TCH-Dick Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 If all you paid was $55.00, the yes you did something wrong. $55.00 is the price for hosting only. Quote
Hugo Posted September 1, 2004 Author Posted September 1, 2004 Is that so? Then you should be carefull with the pre-support you give to your costumers. This is the Chat conversation i had with someone from TCH in the Live Chat. How do you explain this???? Hugo Company: TotalChoice HostingDepartment: Sales Department Name: Chet Sharma Email: chet@totalchoicehosting.com Day: Fri 08/27/04 10:34 am --------------------------------------------- Hugo : I'm trying to order the Silver Plan but i cannot find it when filling the Costumer Details form. --------------------------------------------- ** You are now speaking with Chet Sharma, Sales Department. ** Chet Sharma : Hi Hugo : hello! Chet Sharma : what seems to be the problen Hugo : ooh.. i'm terribly sorry. I was filling the Costumer Details form but i was not finding the plan i was subscribing. I found it now!! Chet Sharma : :-) Hugo : Sorry again! Hugo : How many time does it take to get the domain and webspace avaiable? Chet Sharma : Not more than a couple of hours Hugo : Perfect!! I'm subscribing the Silver Plan paying the yearly price. I also want to register a domain which i added to the subscribing form but the Total bill is still $ 55. Is this correct? Hugo : The $ 10.95 of the domain registration is included in the $ 55 total bill? Chet Sharma : Yep Hugo : ok.. thank you!! Your party has left this session. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 As far as I know Domain Registration is done seperatly from the hosting. I will bring this to the attention of one of the staff and let them reply. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Hi Hugo, Dick is correct, the Domain Registration is completely seperate from the Hosting, and you need to sign up for that seperately. I'm sorry for the confusion caused by the Live chat, The reponse was incorrect. The $55 is the discounted prices for 1 year (with the free month) but does not include the $10.95 domain registration fee. I have just spoken to the relatively new member of the team who you were chatting to, so that we can ensure we do not make the same mistake again. Quote
Hugo Posted September 1, 2004 Author Posted September 1, 2004 Hello again! Finished chating at live support. Chef Sharma helped me registering a domain and everything seems fine now. Thank you for your fast replies. Keep up the good work. Hugo Quote
