lhuggins Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I am new to TCH and just getting around to CPanel. When I tried to login to CPanel via mysite.com/cpanel, I obviously wasn't using the correct password. I chose to reset the password and recieved the response that a new password would be sent to my email. Did this yesterday and again today, but no email response. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks for any help getting started. Quote
HCSuperStores Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I would open up a HELP DESK ticket to be sure it gets resolved. It could be that the e-mail account on your cPanel account does not match where you are looking. Anyway, the HD is the way to go for this problem to be resolved. Good luck! Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 (edited) try the following URL's: http://www.domain.com:2082/ - cPanel http://www.domain.com:2095/ - webmail or open a help ticket as suggested Edited July 4, 2004 by TCH-Don Quote
borfast Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 lhuggins, once you get back into cPAnel, update your contact information (there's a link for it right in the middle of the first page). I believe that's where the e-mail is sent but if you don't set that e-mail address, then the e-mail will be sent to nowhere. Quote
lhuggins Posted July 4, 2004 Author Posted July 4, 2004 I went to Help Desk first, but my password was required before I could Submit. Since my password has been reset, and I don't know what it is, I seem to be in a Catch 22. I have received previous emails from TCH, so it seems that my email address would be OK, maybe not. Any further suggestions? Thanks to all. Quote
LisaJill Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Just put n/a for the password, it'll let you submit it. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Just enter unknown for the password (Or enter the password you would like to use.) The Help Desk requests the password but anything will work. This is so we can access your account. Quote
lhuggins Posted July 5, 2004 Author Posted July 5, 2004 Thanks for moving my discussion to the proper forum. I appreciate your help. Hopefully, this will be the end of this thread. Quote
