You know how car mechanics normally have the worst maintained cars as they are too busy looking after everyone elses?

 

You know how chefs tend to eat junk food because they are too busy cooking for everyone else?

 

Same goes for me as a webdesigner!

 

My site has been a complete mess for the last year, but I really haven't had a spare second to sort it out ... only used it as an informational tool rather than a promotional one.

 

Anyway, finally forced myself to work extra hours and come up with something a bit more presentable! (i was sooooo ashamed of the old one!)

 

There's still bits and pieces to do (search engine optimisation is next weeks job), but it's ready for unveiling

Great job. I really like the design, nice and colorful but not distracting. The only thing is that if your screen's the wrong size there's a bit of "jumping around" of the box when it tries to center in Firefox. Nice look and you're right, your other sites look much nicer than the old home site.

The "jumping " around that Jim mentions happens in all browsers, not just Firefox.

To be quite honest, I started it so long ago that I can't quite remember why it does it, but it was something to do with it using layers and me not being able to find a way of centering the layer without it doing some calculations and jumping around at the same time.

 

Adds character - lol!
