I took a peek in explorer, the bookmarks seems to be a regular html-file so you should be able to re-import them. Backup the file and try to import them to I.E for example and then import them in to mozilla and see what happens.

I forgot to say, make a backup of the folders first. In my case it would be following path: C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\USERNAME\APPLICATION DATA\Mozilla\Profiles\Tompa se\upeeezhc.slt\Mail\jikrantz.se

That has happened twice to me (when it still was only netscape), all i had to do was to reinstall netscape and it turned out ok. Hope that is all you need to do (if not done )
