Slightly but a related question... Is there supposed to be localized versions of openoffice? Reason I ask is because I downloaded it about a week ago and the site gave me the impression that I downloaded a swedish version which was in english when I had installed it.

Hi and welcome to the forum Eloy I can only add to what Jason says that remember that streaming mp3 eats alot of bandwidth. There is probably other ways to restrict the bandwidth consumption, but I would put the mp3 files in a zip file to have my visitors download them before listening.

Hi RickB, I think I saw something like that in cpanel once. I just checked again but it was gone, so maybe cpanel or TCH took it away. However, for any feature request you have for cpanel, you will need to contact cpanel.net since its them who deicdes what cpanel contains etc.

Coppermine Tutorial On Tch Site Doesn't Make Sense
TCH-Thomas replied to criosa's topic in Tutorial Suggestions
Hi criosa, As I was the one writing this tutorial I checked it out but I can´t find the errors you are mentioning. Maybe someone fixed it but if not, may I ask you to make a screen shot and show us what you see? -

Hi and welcome to the forum earache Both phpbb and invision are available through cpanel. Im not sure which version numbers that are available, but I believe it is invsion 1.3 and for phpbb 2.0.11 (which for both are older versions). Although you can easily install them through cpanel it would be recommended that you install them manually though so you have the latest versions. Invision have released their 2.x version of their forum software some time ago, with both a trial and full version. From version 2.x they decided you will need to purchase a license to use the full version. Read more... phpbb on the other hand is a open source I believe which as I understand will always be free. Read more here... So basically, which forum to use is depending on, do you want to spend money on always have the latest version or have a free to use but with less "extra stuff".

Isn't that something how many ads are there? Those are images to, not pop up adds that can be avoided. That was kinda what I meant - LOL! With a good adblocker they do go away.
-
Im just visiting that forum, Weezy with Firefox´s adblocker etc enabled (all that is disabled is my Norton Ad/popup blocker) and it does show the ads now so no use to use Firefox in there just get rid of the ads.

I have tried the free version on several computers with different o/s and no problem either to install, run or uninstall it. Are you sure you had no other spywares on your computer at the time?

Which one is that. Just so we others dont use it.

I especially like number 10. -
Personally, I do my best to catch up with you and Bruce.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately I dont know how to do this, but hold on, there is always someone that knows the answer.
-
Yep, I use adblocker and some other stuff together with FF. Unfortunately I have found they to be really useless without having my Norton ad/popup blocker enabled so with Norton not enabled I see the ads and thats what Im basing my original post on.

I personally hate ads and such things, but lets say this forum you mention are run by one person that have a 100% interest in what it does but have those ads to pay for the space, domain and so on, then Im ok with it. What is worse are those big sites that you know have money and dont have their website for something other than making money but still have ads not actually relevant to their product, then it...

As Bruce say above, which makes me believe that coppermine is a feature in version 10, which not all have yet. EDIT: Rick beat me with a correct answer. Thanks Rick.

Ok, thanks Kris.

Maybe its time for me to give it a new try. Thanks for the info, youneverknow.
